Set in the midst of the Serralada de Marina Natural Park, a step from the Mediterranean Sea and just a few miles away from Barcelona, stands the ALTA ALELLA MIRGIN winery, the dream-come-true of the Pujol-Busquets Guilléns.
A family that has always been dedicated to viticulture. Josep Maria and Cristina have spent their whole lives sharing the wine and cava culture. Their daughters Mireia and Georgina grew up surrounded by vineyards, grapes, harvests and bottles. It’s in their DNA. Knowledge, passion, perseverance and dedicated to transparency. A lifestyle.
Alta Alella's wine varietes are found on several Michelin Star restaurant’s wine lists, including restaurants from the Top 50 Best Restaurants in the World.
The harvest is carried out by hand, paying attention to each plant individually by means of accurate ripeness controls, seeking the optimum moment to pick each variety in the healthiest conditions in order to guarantee the best result. The winery works with micro-vinifications and diversity/wine variety of grapes, producing up to fifty different wines for blending every vintage.
The estate is just two kilometres away from the Mediterranean Sea and the vineyards are planted on slopes and terraces between 100 and 250m above sea level. The vines are grown on Sauló soil which is one of the most important elements that define the wines from Alta Alella: an acidic white granite-based sandy soil with low limestone content, low organic matter and good natural water drainage.
Established in 1991 on the 19th century Can Genís estate, the winery has always practiced certified organic farming techniques, creating a well-balanced ecosystem that respects the native flora and fauna.
The winery has recovered vineyards over sixty years old and planted the traditional varieties Pansa Blanca and Mataró. It has achieved all this without forgoing its commitment to quality and uniqueness, as certified by the fact that one of its parcels of land has been honoured with the highest category of the cava sector: “Paraje Calificado”.

AA PARVUS ROSÉ
Tasty and persistent rosé, ideal to pair with structured dishes.
Gorgeous wine with its strawberry colour, high aromatic intensity and stylish entry point, with aromas recalling of red fruits, notes of violet flowers with a background of tomato leaves. Unctuous, fresh and very balanced on the palate with a lingering aftertaste.

AA CAU D’EN GENIS
The saline expression of a singular vineyard overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Selection from the estate’s oldest parcel, its ageing on lees gives to the wine a strong expression of the vintage. The quintessence of what a premium Pansa Blanca wine should be: fresh attack of white fruit notes, hints of fennel, salty, mineral and silky with a long and elegant aftertaste.
